Description
The Dead Stick Baits Weighted Flatline is a weighted soft-plastic hook designed to add subtle weight to your presentation while keeping the rig streamlined and easy to fish.
Featuring an integrated lead weight positioned along the hook shank, the Weighted Flatline adds weight directly to the hook rather than requiring a separate bullet sinker. This helps the bait sink naturally while providing additional stability and control through the retrieve. Strategically positioned weights on comparable weighted soft-plastic hooks are used to improve bait balance and help plastics track correctly through the water.
The built-in bait keeper helps secure the nose of your soft plastic and reduce unwanted movement on the hook. The hook’s wide-gap profile provides room for the plastic to collapse during the strike, making it suitable for Texas-style and weedless rigging of compatible soft plastics.
The Weighted Flatline is a versatile option for paddle-tail swimbaits, soft-plastic jerkbaits, creature baits and other soft plastics when you want a little extra casting weight or a controlled fall without the bulk of a traditional sinker. Comparable weighted wide-gap hooks are particularly useful for fishing soft plastics around vegetation and cover.
