Description
The Dead Stick Baits Dead Desperado 4″ is a high-action creature bait designed for flipping, pitching and working through bass-holding cover.
The Dead Desperado features a bulky, heavily ribbed body combined with multiple appendages and a pair of large flapping claws. This combination creates a substantial crawfish-inspired profile while producing vibration and water displacement as the bait falls, hops or moves along the bottom. Comparable ribbed creature baits use this combination of compact bodies and active appendages to create action even at slower speeds.
The large rear claws provide the bait’s primary action, while the smaller curled side appendages add secondary movement for a more animated presentation. Its ribbed body also gives the Dead Desperado plenty of visual bulk while retaining a compact 4-inch profile.
This style of creature bait is particularly versatile. Rig the Dead Desperado on a Texas rig for flipping and pitching, punch it through vegetation, drag it on a Carolina rig, or use it as a jig trailer to add extra bulk and action. Similar 4″ craw and creature profiles are widely used across all of these techniques.
Whether you’re targeting grass, timber, docks, laydowns, rocky structure or deeper cover, the Dead Desperado gives you a compact but aggressive soft plastic presentation built for targeting bass where they live.
