Description
The Dead Stick Baits Big Chungus 4.5″ is a bulky, high-action creature bait built for flipping, pitching and working the kind of heavy cover where big bass live.
Its substantial ribbed body creates a pronounced profile and increases water displacement, while the large twin flapping claws come alive on the fall and retrieve. Two smaller side appendages add secondary movement, giving the Big Chungus a crawfish-inspired silhouette with plenty of action without sacrificing its compact, cover-friendly shape.
This style of ribbed creature bait is particularly effective for flipping and pitching, Texas rigging, punching vegetation and fishing as a jig trailer. Comparable creature baits use ribbed bodies and oversized flapping appendages to generate vibration and movement during the fall, when many strikes occur.
At 4.5 inches, the Big Chungus provides plenty of bulk when you want bass to notice your presentation. Flip it into grass, pitch it alongside timber and docks, drag it across rocky structure, or add it to a jig when you want extra profile and claw action.
